Workshops for Schools, Galleries and Community Groups

I work with collage, textile, stitch and other mediums to create abstract artworks. Through surface texture, colour, and line, each piece explores a tactile and visual interpretation of a range of influences.

For workshops, inspiration can be curriculum-based, or uniquely-tailored to the needs of specific schools, galleries, or student groups. Creative start-points could include nature, landscape, decorative arts, multi-cultural societies, personal spaces and interests, recycling, language, and more. My artistic approach works towards a number of desired outcomes including creative thinking, enhanced observation, and individual self-expression.
